LISA SHAW

Lisa, who started Music 4 Mini's as a labour of love, brings passion, energy and love to all the classes she teaches. She adores the children and loves interacting with all the caregivers attending her classes. She believes that music is an invaluable gift to give to babies and children. Lisa is also a mom of two and she has shared Music and Music 4 Mini's classes with her now 10 year old daughter, Sophie, and her 8 year old son Liam, since the day they were born. She has seen firsthand the positive impact music has had on her children and the enjoyment it brings to them both. Lisa has extensive music experience playing the flute, recorder and guitar and has always loved to sing. She got her Grade 8 on both flute and recorder and has recorded 4 Music 4 Mini’s albums. Lisa teaches classes in Claremont and heads up the Music 4 Mini’s team of teachers handpicking wonderful women to share their passion for music with all their classes around Cape Town, Johannesburg and Aukland, New Zealand

jayde drescher

Jayde is a wonderful member of our team. She has a huge amount of experience in teaching singing / voice lessons to both children and adults. Jayde is mom to 4 wonderful daughters and she just loves teaching music to all the little ones in our classes. Jayde teaches at some of our play schools where Music 4 Mini’s is offered and also runs wonderful private classes in Meadowridge, Noordhoek, Hout Bay, Vredehoek and Claremont. Jayde is nurturing and kind and has a wonderful way with children.

NADINE GROBBELAAR

We are excited to welcome Nadine to our team. Nadine is a passionate music enthusiast and singer with a deep love for music and special affinity for teaching young children. Nadine brings a vibrant and engaging approach to the world of music education. When Nadine is not on stage performing in amazing shows such as We Will Rock You, she is sharing her passion for music and creativity with the little ones. Nadine teachers our classes in Riverclub and Ferndale.

Candice bernstein

Candice is an actress born and bred in Cape Town. A graduate of The Atlantic Acting School in New York City, she returned to South Africa and begun appearing in international commercials and on local stages. She is a proud mom to her son Leo who absolutely adores music. After a chance encounter enrolling him in one of our Music 4 Mini’s classes they both became absolutely besotted with the class! With immense gratitude, Candice joined Music 4 Minis as a teacher in 2023 and hasn’t looked back. Candice teachers at a few of our play schools as well as runs classes in Newlands, Fresnaye, Green point and Royal Ascot.

AMY KRUGER

Amy is an integral member of the Music 4 Mini’s team. She studied a BMus in Jazz performance majoring in vocals and piano. She also has her Grade 8 in classical piano. After many years of singing teaching at some of Cape Town’s prestigious junior schools, Amy joined our team and shares her passion for music and children in our classes. She teachers in the following areas: Newlands, Rondebosch, Orangezicht, Fresnaye, Sea Point and Century City. The children in Amy’s class all adore her and she brings energy, fun and knowledge to her lessons. Amy is mom to Jack (6 years old) and Indy (3 years old).

MONE MINNAAR

Mone is a vibrant pre school teacher with a passion for music. She is a proud mom to little Mejean. With over 17 years experience with children in and outside the classroom, she takes pride in her joyful and natural connection with little ones of all ages. Her colourful personality makes for great fun and lots of excitement in our classes. Mone teachers many of our Johannesburg private classes as well as the classes we run at our Jhb schools.
